The house
The name DuoMa joins two words, two and hand, and it tells the story: this is the project of a couple, Eliecer Rodríguez and Carla Figueroa, who decided in 2016 to make their own wine in Guadalupe Valley (Valle de Guadalupe). Their idea is minimal intervention. They treat grapes as a living food, without correcting them, and combine modern winemaking techniques with manual work.
They work grapes from the valley and from Ojos Negros. Their blend Dos Manos joins Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Nebbiolo, and there are also Syrah reds, a white from white grapes, and three Pét Nat, one rosé, one white, and one amber. The couple also offers winemaking consulting to other projects, and tastings are booked in advance.
