The place
A hill, a ranch of about 28 hectares (69 acres) and the Vena Cava winery on the same property: that is La Villa del Valle, a six-room inn on the Rancho San Marcos Toros Pintos, near the km 88 marker. From above you see vineyards, olive groves and rows of lavender, with the hills all around. Each room is decorated individually and has a king bed, a queen bed or two long single beds. Three have a full balcony and a Mexican fireplace. The bath products are made with organic essential oils. There is a pool, a garden and a terrace, and breakfast is included. The inn offers spa and wellness packages and takes small events, from work meetings to weddings of more than a hundred guests. Couples sleep next to one of the valley's wineries, and groups use it to celebrate in private. The owners act as hosts, and for events they prepare local cooking with products from the region.
