The place

Hacienda Guadalupe builds its hotel on a hill at kilometer 81.5 of the highway from Tecate to Ensenada, with flagstone walls, handmade roof tiles and brick from local producers. It has 16 rooms with Mexican decor, designed for couples, and each has a balcony or terrace with a view of the valley. The Deluxe King rooms measure about 377 sq ft (35 sq m) and the Junior King rooms about 409 sq ft (38 sq m). Both have a king bed, air conditioning with heating, and space for two adults and a child. The hotel offers wifi, aromatherapy to turn the room into a calm zone, a pool with a jacuzzi, and tastings of the house wines, which are made at the winery on the same estate. The restaurant is at the top of the hill, facing the vineyards. It is open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on weekends from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and closed on Tuesdays. On the hotel terrace there is also a restaurant and bar, Aledaño, which for now shows as closed. Reservations are taken by phone or WhatsApp.

It is part of Hacienda Guadalupe Vinícola, which has its own page in the guide: see the winery Hacienda Guadalupe Vinícola.
